Philosophy Matters is the writing home of Khalid Yassin. It started as a notebook propped against a kettle, and it has slowly turned into three shelves and a handful of books — fiction, poetry, and self-help.

The through-line isn't a genre, it's a question: how do we live well, right now, in the world we actually have? Sometimes that question becomes a novel. Sometimes it becomes a poem. Occasionally it becomes a short, honest guide.

Every book on this site can be sampled before you buy. Ebooks are sold directly. Paperbacks and audiobooks live on Amazon. That's the whole business plan.
